Odesk is a legit company?

Newbee in internet and aspirant to earn income online ask if Odesk is a legitimate company. Actually, Odesk is a bridge company where buyer (Company Manager) and the Provider ( The Freelancer) meet. The buyer post a job and the provider will apply it, the buyer review the providers application and if found someone who are capable for the job posting, the buyer send and interview and discuss the job and probably the buyer hire to the provider he want to do the task. 

There were two kinds of job, the fix and the hourly. Be careful of the fix because odesk cannot guarantee that the buyer will pay you. The hourly job is 100% guaranteed that the buyer will pay you.

People asking why odesk? For me, it is simply means - odesk is friendly. Many Filipinos enjoy working in odesk at home or even as a part time job after 8 hours working in private and government establishments. But mind you, some makes Odesk as their full time job. I own an internet cafe, I am happy to tell you that I am full of frustrations.
